The Changemaker Ecosystem

Each person has a role to play in the changemaker ecosystem.

Four Core Categories:


These visionaries are defined by their Intuition (N) and Feeling (F). They are abstract and compassionate, seek meaning and significance, and concerned with personal growth and their own unique identity. Their greatest strength is their diplomacy. They excel at clarifying, individualizing, unifying, and inspiring.

These builders are defined by their Intuition (N) and Thinking (T) . They seek mastery and self-control, and are concerned with their own knowledge and competence. Their greatest strength is strategy. They excel in any kind of logical investigation such as engineering, conceptualizing, theorizing, and coordinating.


These creatives are characterized by their Sensing (S) and Perceiving (P). They are concrete and adaptable, seeking stimulation and virtuosity, they are concerned with making an impact. Their greatest strength is tactics, and they excel at troubleshooting, agility, and manipulation of tools, instruments, and equipment.


These stabilizers are characterized by their Sensing (S) and Judging (J). This group is concrete and organized, seek security and belonging, and concerned with responsibility and duty. They excel at organizing, facilitating, checking, and supporting.

It's important to note that no personality type is better than another. They each have their distinct strengths. Although some people are born with more entrepreneurial inclination than others, management expert Peter Drucker argues that most people can learn to act like entrepreneurs.

Being a social entrepreneur simply requires an admittedly peculiar combination of sensitivity and stubbornness, humility and courage, restlessness and patience. Your personality is a great start, but it isn't an adequate assessment of your life's work. To get a more complete picture, you'll need to take inventory of your talents, and examine your experiences.
